Albany police investigate bank robbery

Albany police are looking for a bank robber.

They say around 8 a.m. Tuesday, a man walked into the SEFCU at 388 Clinton Avenue. He had what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect got what he wanted and fled. No one was hurt.

He’s is described as a light-skinned black male, 30-35 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark-colored clothes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Albany police at (518) 462-8039, or anonymously submit a tip to Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
