Battle over Saratoga Springs charter may be over

SARATOGA SPRINGS – The battle over the city charter in Saratoga Springs may be over.

A state Supreme Court judge ruled against Gordon Boyd, who was calling for a full recount of all 9,000 votes cast in the November election.

The charter referendum was defeated by just 10 votes. Boyd served on the charter review commission, which wanted to replace the existing form of government with a city manager and city council.
