Hudson police warn residents of bear sightings

Hudson police are on the lookout for a bear.

The bear was spotted three times between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Wednesday in the areas of Fairview Avenue, Green Street, and Columbia Street. There was another bear sighting on Prospect Avenue near Columbia Memorial Hospital later in the day.

Police remind residents to never approach a bear and remove things that attract them like birdseed, garbage and pet food.

If you spot a bear, call the police.
