GANSEVOORT - "In front of your friends and family and from all your fellow wrestlers we are going to name you the honorary everlasting, world heavyweight champion, 'Caeden the Brave.'"

Caeden Frost had no idea what awaited him at the Gansevoort Volunteer Fire Department, Friday night.

All of his favorite things in one room- wrestlers, owls, Pokemon, the Schuylerville football team and more, there to celebrate his 16th birthday a month early.

"Caeden has a disease called mitochondrial myopothy and he's struggled with it for his whole life," Jennifer Frost, Caeden's mother explained.

Jennifer says there's no way Caeden was missing his 'Sweet 16' in front of all of these people- his closest 200 plus friends.

"He wanted to live to see his 16th birthday and I said I wanted to have a little get together and it was taken out of my hands quite quickly," Jennifer said.

It took a week for all of this to come together, including a quilt sewn in just three days showcasing photos of Caeden and his family.

"In those moments things like this help you remember you were not alone and that they're still around us," Erin Musto of Maddie's Mark Foundation said.

Though his condition has progressed, the energy depleting disorder hasn't stopped Caeden from being the World of Hurt Wrestling's number one fan.

"A lot of kids get excited about meeting a wrestler. Caeden is different, he's telling me stuff about wrestling that I don't know," Shane Alden said.

WAC North American Pageants Owner, Kelly Slingerland added, "He's just so positive about everything, he's a fighter and he is ready to fight whatever comes at him."

The outpouring of love is one the Frost family will never forget.

"Thank you, from the bottom of my heart because these are memories that me and my family and our friends will always have with us," Jennifer said.
