Man charged after Montgomery County manhunt

The man accused of prompting an intense manhunt last week in Montgomery County has been charged.

Boyd Wells III, 18, is charged with felony escape.

The sheriff's office says Wells slipped away from deputies following a court appearance in Fonda on Thursday night.

He was arraigned and is now being held on $10,000 bail.
