NYSP scour Catskill property for clues in missing man's disappearance

CATSKILL - State Police won't say what they were digging for - a body, evidence or something else - but turned up ground and lumber remains after scores of investigators scoured 126 Tool House Road, outside and in.
"I think they briefly went through, lights were on, closet door closed tightly," explains John Tirillo who rents the property that attracted the NYSP for close to 12 hours on Thursday.
Tirillo had to leave his apartment for the day as NYSP conducted a search in connection to the Brandyn Foster case. The 31 year old has been missing since January.
"They just told me it was nothing to do with me. It was something with the previous tenant," said Tirillo.
A Trooper was also stationed outside this home, on Brooke Street, in the Village of Catskill for much of the day. It's unclear how the two are related or if the digging at the Tool House Road location revealed any new information about Foster's sudden disappearance.
"Rght now they're following leads ...In that area today," said Trooper Steven Nevel in a phone interview from Troop F.
Trooper Nevel added that Foster went missing under suspicious circumstances. John Tirillo is shocked that the small apartment in the quiet woods of Catskill that he moved into in June is now the site of so much commotion.
"I don't think something like this would happen around here," added Tirillo.
If you have information regarding Foster's disappearance, please contact Troop F at 518.622.8600.
