New police chief named in Troy

TROY - There's a new chief at the Troy Police Department. Mayor Patrick Madden announced Thursday Assistant Chief Brian Owens has been promoted to chief. He takes over for John Tedesco who retired last month.

Owens is a 20-year veteran of the Troy Police Department.

Captains Daniel DeWolf and Christopher Kehn were promoted to the rank of assistant chief.
