Kevlar Vests are donated to the Schenectady County SPCA today.
The 25 vests will be used by peace officers during their work in the field.
The equipment was being used by the Albany County Probation Department, but the warranties expired and the county had to buy new equipment.
SPCA officers can face dangerous situations when entering homes and say this will help protect them while they do their jobs.
