West Mountain’s bulls-eye bottle deposit serves dual purpose

January 30, 2018 04:40 PM

QUEENSBURY - West Mountain in Queensbury is taking extra steps to keep the mountain clean.

If you head there to ski, you may notice a giant bulls-eye under the chairlift at Pole 15. It's 12-feet in diameter, with a 10-gallon trash bin below. Riders and skiers can drop any bottles and cans right into the bulls-eye.

Glens Falls Hospital is sponsoring this. The bottle deposit proceeds will then be donated to Double H Ranch's Adaptive Ski Program.
