NEW YORK (AP) - Police say six people have been hurt in an accident involving three vehicles just blocks from the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan.

Fire and police officials say none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

Investigators say a car struck an SUV around 1:20 p.m. near Broadway and Liberty Street.

The SUV then hit a bike.

The car kept going, crushing the back of a third vehicle before coming to a stop.

A witness, Hector Freytes of Queens, says people scattered as the car sped along Liberty. He says a woman near him in a crosswalk dove out of the way and suffered a leg injury. Freytes says he's "in shock."

On Oct. 31, a driver killed eight people in a truck attack on an area bike path.
