Area charity victimized in cyberattack

Catholic Charities of Saratoga, Warren and Washington Counties says it is the victim of a cyberattack.

The personal information of some 4,600 agency clients and personnel may have been exposed.

Catholic Charities says the hack was discovered August 13. They've since determined it may date back to 2015.

The charity says it has notified police and is reaching out to those potentially affected.
