Police: Alleged robber's conscience gets best of him

PITTSFIELD, Mass. - A robbery suspect turned himself into police in Pittsfield.

Police tell NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle Christopher Hennington asked for a lottery ticket at Kirk's Variety and Hobby Center.

He's accused of saying he didn't have the money and stealing $50 from the store.

A short time later, police say Hennington turned himself into police and told them he felt guilty about what he did.

Police say he gave back what was left of the money he stole.
