“All of a sudden I saw this guy get struck by lightning and I was supposed to be studying for a quiz, like three quizzes, and this dude just gets hit by lightning,” said witness Amy Russell. “And he full on like flips on his face and his bike is tangled in his legs. This lady helped me, these two ladies helped me, and she got some blankets from her car and I had to go grab some blankets for his head. And his nose was bleeding because when he fell I think he broke his nose.”

Russell says the man was able to tell first responders his name.
