Colonie police investigate armed robbery

COLONIE -- The Colonie Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Sunoco A+ Mini Market at 62 Exchange St. 

Police say the incident happened shortly after 3 a.m. Monday. No shots were fired but the suspect made out with $150 in cash. Police say the suspect fled on foot toward Exchange St., where a car is believed to have been waiting.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 5’11” and 200 pounds. They say he was wearing light colored jeans with a black jacket, a black hat, a black mask, black shoes, and grey gloves.
