Columbia County D.A. hit by alleged drunken driver

GHENT - Some scary moments for Columbia County District Attorney Paul Czajka, after being hit by an alleged drunk driver.

The sheriff says Czajka was driving on Route 66 in Ghent Monday night, when a car pulled out of a driveway and hit him.

Czajka's car skid across the road and struck a rock wall.

The driver of the other car, Bruce Nooney, was charged with felony DWI because of a previous conviction.

NewsChannel 13 is told both Nooney and Czajka suffered minor injuries.
