Coxsackie man charged with animal cruelty

A Coxsackie man is being charged with animal cruelty.

Paul Bull, 47, is under arrest. Police say he owned Penny, the 3-year-old pitbull mix who was found abused and neglected four days ago.

The dog is suffering from a severe case of mange and has multiple infections caused by the skin disease. She was found on the side of the road earlier this week.

Penny is now recovering at the Columbia-Greene Humane Society. They say she's doing well.
