Crews patch Albany water main break

ALBANY -- Crews in Albany got more than they bargained for while fixing a water main break on the South Mall Expressway.

As NewsChannel 13 told you on Saturday, the city has been working to repair a damaged valve under South Swan Street.

The repairs were supposed to wrap up Saturday evening, but workers found different conditions that extended the project. Roads in the surrounding area have been closed most of the day.

The work is expected to be wrapping up, but they say the extreme cold is making things difficult.
