Deadly Rensselaer fire deemed accidental

RENSSELAER - Investigators say the deadly fire on Mann Avenue in Rensselaer last weekend may have been caused by an electrical issue and was accidental.

Police believe there was at least one smoke detector in the home, but it may not have been working.

Two adults and a child were killed. A 16-year-old person is still in critical condition at a hospital in Syracuse.
