Albany police investigate Dollar General robbery

Albany police say a man robbed a Dollar General, using a hammer.

It happened Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. at the store on 485 Delaware Avenue.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a six-foot-tall white male with dark-colored clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Detectives Division at (518) 462-8039, or submit an anonymous tip to Capital Region Crime Stoppers.
