Easter great for sales at Uncle Sam's

LATHAM -- While most businesses shut down for Easter Sunday, some work even harder.

At Uncle Sam's Chocolates in Latham, it's one of the busiest days of the year. While bunnies are always big sellers, some people are also going with a more personal touch.

“We have literally thousands of different molds, for different interests, and people love that to fill a basket,” said Deb Vincent of Uncle Sam’s Chocolates. “We sold tons of things.”

The National Retail Federation says spending for Easter is expected to reach over $18 billion this
