Jail inmate accused of biting corrections officer

An inmate at the Warren County Jail is facing new charges, after allegedly biting a corrections officer.

Erik Clothier of Glens Falls is being held on domestic abuse charges and the sheriff's department says he became combative during a search of his cell and bit the hand of the officer who tried to restrain him.

The officer was not hurt and Clothier is now facing attempted assault charges in addition to the domestic violence charges.
