Former Jiminy Peak employee sentenced for stealing from employer

A former employee of the Jiminy Peak Ski Resort has been sentenced for stealing $23,000 from her employer.

45-year-old Jennifer Thurston pleaded guilty to forging checks at the ski area in Hancock.

She was sentenced to 3-to-5 years in state prison.
