Four arraigned on drug and weapon charges

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Pittsfield police say they tried to stop a car Monday night, but it took off.

They say a gun was thrown from the vehicle before officers eventually pulled it over in the area of Fourth Street and Curtis.

When they searched the car, police say they also found a bag of drugs. Jovan Rodriguez, Carey Pilot, Samuel Thomason and Thomas Tobin Jr. were arrested. Police say Pilot’s daughter was also in the car.
