NewsChannel 13 obtained cell phone video of the incident captured by a parkgoer. People in the video can be heard saying, "Her neck is stuck!" and “They'll catch you! They'll catch you, honey!"

The spokesperson said a group of guests, as well as security personnel at the park, caught the girl after she fell from what is called the Sky Ride.

Warren County Sheriff's Department officials said the girl fell about 30 feet and was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.

The girl’s exact age is not clear, but sheriff's department officials said she is believed to be a teenager.

Deputies secured the area around the incident and interviewed witnesses.

In a statement, the spokesperson for Six Flags Great Escape also said, "The safety and security of our guests is our top priority. This does not appear to be any malfunction of the ride, but we have closed the attraction for further review.”
