GLOVERSVILLE - Gloversville police are investigating an incident that happened late Tuesday night in the area of W. Fulton St. 

Police say a man approached a home and was armed with what appeared to be a machete. Police say the man knocked at the door of the residence, but later fled to a car that dropped him off.

Police describe the car as an extended cab Chevrolet Colorado, or Chevrolet S-10. They say the vehicle appears to have the rear passenger side brake light out.

The suspect was wearing a short sleeve shirt with a logo on the left. He was donning a hat with an “S” on the front as well as a mask and gloves.
