Grand jury hears more testimony in police-involved shooting investigation

TROY - A grand jury once again heard testimony Thursday in Rensselaer City Court.

The panel is looking into the use of deadly police force in the shooting of Edson Thevenin in Troy last April.

This is the second time the grand jury has met. NewsChannel 13 was inside for proceedings last Wednesday.

The state attorney general is probing Rensselaer County District Attorney Joel Abelove's handling of the case.
