Granville mom accused of having kids smash truck with baseball bat

A mother from Granville is accused of having her two young children smash a truck with a baseball bat.

Ashley Cortes, 28, was being held in the Washington County Jail. She's accused of having her 6 and 7 year olds damage the truck, which belonged to her mother's boyfriend.

Police tell NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post-Star they believe Cortes first hit the truck with the bat, then handed it off to her kids to keep swinging.
