Groundbreaking held for new Albany High swimming pool

ALBANY - A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday morning for the new swimming pool at Albany High.

The swimming pool has been out of commission since march of last year, when a large section of the exterior wall collapsed.

It stalled the school district's $5.4 million renovation plan.

The school says the pool's scheduled to be completed in April, allowing high school swim teams to return.
