Gym Rat Challenge makes its way to Albany

ALBANY - It's a busy weekend in downtown Albany as the Gym Rat Challenge takes over the Capital Center.

Hundreds of club basketball teams will play against each other in the annual challenge. The players range in age from middle to high school. Teams come from around the country.

Organizers say between the boys Gym Rat Challenge and the girls, it will draw more than 22,000 people to the Capital Region and pump more than $19 million into the local economy.

The tournament wraps up Sunday.
