There was a silent auction and a beer tasting raffle. But the highlight of the evening was the chefs challenge.

“Chefs from around the region are making food items based on pantry items,” said Natasha Pernicka of the Food Pantries of the Capital District. “The chefs are showing that you can take simple items that are distributed through our food pantries and make a really tasty meal.”

NewsChannel 13's Ashley Miller was one of the chefs challenge judges.
