Hiker injured at Kaaterskill Falls

GREENE COUNTY -- A hiker has been injured at Kaaterskill Falls.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says a woman has been taken to the hospital after sustaining a head injury in a fall.

The incident happened despite $750,000 in upgrades to the hiking trail by the state after the deaths of six people there over the last decade. A man fell 169 feet to his death last fall.
