Hudson Falls syringe exchange program likely scrapped

HUDSON FALLS - After fierce public opposition, it looks like plans are being scrapped for a syringe exchange program in Hudson Falls.

NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post Star report the Alliance for Positive Health has decided to withdraw its application for a proposed site on Main Street.

It also plans to move its care management services out of the village. The move follows a volatile community meeting last week.

The Alliance for Positive Health says it will remain in Hudson Falls until it can find another location.
