The mountain began snowmaking operations last weekend.

“We were incredibly excited to begin our snowmaking operations last weekend and expect Mother Nature will provide us with more cold temperatures in advance of opening day,” said Russ Coloton, General Manager of Hunter Mountain. “Assuming temperatures drop on Sunday, we plan to expand our snowmaking efforts beyond the Main Line, giving our guests more terrain to enjoy on the first day of the season."

Both Gore and Whiteface will open for the season Saturday, Nov. 18.
