An Albany man will spend nine years in prison for shooting at two women with a homemade gun.
Prosecutors say Jah Juan Davis converted a flare gun into a .22 caliber pistol, then fired it at the women last September. It happened during a domestic dispute.
Davis was originally charged with two counts of attempted murder. He pleaded guilty to weapons possession and an armed violent felony.
