ALBANY – A jamboree in Washington park marks the end of a summer program.
15-Love uses tennis to help inner-city kids. More than 1,900 children in Albany, Troy, Schenectady and Rensselaer took part of the program throughout the summer.
Organizers say they want to get kids' school year off to a healthy start.
"Healthy living is a huge part of what we do,” said Amber Marino of 15-Love. “We want to keep them active all summer long and into the school year.”
Tennis great Arthur Ashe was a founding member. He believed tennis could help teach kids the game of life
