State police search for missing Middleburgh man

State police need your help finding a missing Middleburgh man.

James Gabriel, 41, hasn’t been seen since last Thursday evening.

Gabriel is described as a white male, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 178 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with skulls and camouflage shorts.

Police say he’s made statements related to self-harm.

He may be driving a gold or tan 2005 Mercury Sable four-door sedan with license plate GSS5161.

Police think he could be the southwestern part of the county or Stamford, NY area and say he’s known to stay at state parks or campgrounds in Schoharie and Delaware Counties.
