Lake George boat death trial takes day off after prosecution rests

QUEENSBURY - The Alex West trial is off Tuesday as part of a regularly scheduled day off. Testimony will resume Wednesday.

The prosecution rested Tuesday following testimony from the father of the 8-year-old girl who died in the crash on Lake George.

Police say the 25-year-old West was drunk and on drugs when crashed his boat into another boat, killing Charlotte McCue.

NewsChannel 13 will be in court when testimony resumes.
