The Casino Manager Mary Cheeks says the hotel will offer guests a first-class experience.

"It’s going to be a boutique hotel, with all the amenities you could think of," pointed out Cheeks. "Spa service, use of our events center," she explained. "Multipurpose room, fitness center, food and beverage service, bell service, you name it," she continued.

The hotel is expected to bring 60 jobs to the region. It opens next month.

Once that hotel is opened and the entire project complete, Rivers Casino expects to bring in more than $4 million a week in revenue. According to the latest reports to the state Gaming Commission, right now the casino is averaging a little more than half that.

The week ending June 18, the casino brought in $2.5 million. That's down from its high point of $3,656,000 its second week in operation, back in February.
