State of emergency remains after Columbia County landslide

A state of emergency is still in place in Columbia County along the Claverack Creek.

Repairs are being made to a landslide that broke off behind the Sons and Daughters of Italy Hall on Bridge Street. It sent tons of earth sliding into the Claverack Creek, blocking the flow of water.

No homes are in danger.
