Locals traveling to presidential inauguration

WASHINGTON – The presidential inauguration will have a New York flair, including some groups from the Capital Region.

Fifty-five high school students from Middleburgh took a bus down to Washington D.C. to attend the inauguration ceremony.

The band from the Oppenheim-Ephrata School District traveled down to our nation’s capital and performed Thursday.

The band from Marist College in Poughkeepsie has also been invited to perform at the inauguration parade on Friday.
