Man arrested in connection with Warren County standoff

NORTH CREEK - A man has been arrested in connection with a standoff in North Creek.

Investigators say Lucas West, 36, was fighting with a woman at his home for hours. In addition to verbal abuse, deputies say West punched the woman in the face and slammed her head off a concrete floor. He also allegedly put his knee across her throat, knocking her in and out of consciousness.

After a three and half hour standoff, West gave up.

Now, he's been charged with strangulation and unlawful imprisonment. He is in the Warren County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.
