Lunar eclipse could be visible in Capital Region if weather cooperates

This weekend is the time to check out the night sky. You might catch a lunar eclipse – if the weather cooperates.

Rick Darling with the Museum Of Innovation and Science tells NewsChannel 13 people should look up at the sky at about 11:29 Sunday night.

He says that’s when you’ll see that eclipse start and you’re going to see the moon turn a little bit darker, and turn a little bit red. That will be at about 12:11 or so Monday morning.

It will all be over at about 12:53.
