A man has pleaded guilty in connection with two homicides in Rensselaer County.
Magdaleno Perez Calixto will serve nine years behind bars for kidnapping and burglary. He and three other men are accused of killing Javier Gomez and Christian Hernandez last year.
Gomez's body was found in an apartment in Troy. Hernandez was found a day later near a creek in Cropseyville.
As part of the plea deal, Calixto is required to cooperate against the other suspects. Those two suspects rejected plea deals on Monday morning, so they will go to trial.
