MENANDS - Parents in the Menands School District can voice their opinion on recess.

As NewsChannel 13 has reported, parents are fuming because student playtime has been cut to 10 minutes.  The superintendent says it's being done because teachers need more time for lessons. However, parents say their kids need some decent recess time to play, socialize and blow off some steam so they can perform better in the classroom.
