Man sentenced for role in violent Menands robbery

An Albany man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in a violent Menands robbery.

Messiah Green and three other people attacked a person last March and stole their cell phone and wallet.

The victim was punched in the head several times, while another person displayed what appeared to be a firearm.

Green also faces five years of post-release supervision.

The three co-defendants were all sentenced to prison last year.
