Schenectady police search for missing fire hydrant

Schenectady police are searching for a missing fire hydrant.

The hydrant was located at Cutler Street and Fifth Avenue. Police say it went missing after a car crashed into it on January 17 around 1:30 p.m. Security video appears to show it being stolen.

Police say the suspect was driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck with a dull black finish, yellow snow plow and homemade wooden box in the bed.
