Motorcycle crashes into car in Queensbury

QUEENSBURY - Two people were thrown off a motorcycle in Queensbury Sunday evening.

Investigators say it happened when a car failed to yield the right of way on Route 9 near Exit 20 of the Northway around 8:40 p.m.

Dominick Commisso was taken to Glens Falls Hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, Joanne Commisso, was airlifted to Albany Medical Center with more serious injuries.

The driver of the car, 23-year-old Dakota Millington, was issued a citation.
