Albany County has seen a 128 percent increase in heroin deaths in just one year, according to the Rockefeller Institute of Government.
There's a Narcan training meeting at Voorheesville High School from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. It's open to the public.
Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple is encouraging anyone and everyone to stop by. He says he'll also talk about some changes to drug laws, how addiction begins, and how to move forward.
