NISKAYUNA - A grand opening ceremony was held for a new community mausoleum. It's at Mary Immaculate, Patroness of America at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.

The Adirondack-themed mausoleum is said to be reminiscent of the style of local architect and conservationist Paul Schaefer. He was known for designing and building several hundred homes in the Schenectady area.
