Wilton bridge being named after fallen state trooper

WILTON - A bridge in Wilton is being renamed after a fallen New York State trooper from South Glens Falls.

The bridge crossing Route 33 will now be known as the New York State Trooper Timothy Pratt Memorial Bridge.

Trooper Pratt was struck and killed by a car while helping a truck driver last October.

Governor Cuomo says this will help ensure Trooper Pratt's memory and service to his community will continue to be remembered.
